Update

Well….howdy! Long time no see!

I totally neglected this blog while I was in school this past semester, and I apologize. While I have been away, I have managed to get into a number of interesting debates and discussions that I want to tell you guys about. Expect there to be a series of posts in the coming days with screencaps of debates, and play-by-plays of verbal debates that I have entered into recently! Namely, there is one notable one about gender, and another about same-sex marriage that I am eager to share.

Like I said, I apologize for not posting here. I fully intend to make sure that doesn’t happen anymore. It’s just that school kept me really busy, especially since I was aiming for a 4.0 (which I got, by the way ^_^) and my classes were not easy.

An Introduction

Well hello out there! My name is Seph, and I will be your humble guide through this world of politics, religion, and mayhem.

Let me try to sum up myself, so that you can decide if you want to follow my blog or not. I am a 21 year old student and Registered Phlebotomy Technician who is currently working on his RN. I am quite liberal politically, and am a passionate advocate for LGBT rights, legal access to abortions, and the freedom of/from religion. I have had a long and arduous religious history, which has culminated in my atheism. I am gay, and came out at the age of 13. I have a boyfriend of over 3 years who is a student of History in northern Pennsylvania. He is my rock, my number one supporter, and one of my biggest motivations.

Aside from those serious things, I am also a major nerd. I love reading sci-fi and fantasy books, especially those by Tamora Pierce, Christopher Paolini, Terry Goodkind, and Philip Pullman. Learning about science and psychology is a hobby of mine. I am a huge video gamer, who loves Legend of Zelda, Castlevania, Skyrim, Mario, and Final Fantasy. Drag Queens are amazing. I am also a HUGE Whovian, having just discovered the series earlier this year.

On this blog, you can expect to find posts about anything mentioned above and more. I hope you enjoy this peek into my life. If you are like-minded, hopefully we can become friends! If you are of conflicting opinions, I welcome your input just the same and hope we can have civil debate.
